Position Highlights:

- Contract Length: 18 weeks
- Compensation: Up to $20/hr (based on experience)
Job Description:
- Assist teachers in delivering educational programs and individualized student support.
- Provide supervision during classroom activities, lunch, and recess.
- Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
- Support students with special needs as required by individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Prepare instructional materials and organize learning activities under teacher supervision.
- Perform clerical duties, such as grading and organizing student records.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Highly qualified status achieved through:
- Completion of two years of college coursework (48 semester hours), or
- An associate degree, or
- Passing a state-approved paraprofessional assessment (e.g., ParaPro Assessment, Project Para).
