Travel Physical Therapist – Outpatient & Swing Bed – Eden, Texas

Connected Healthcare is seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist (PT) for a solo practice position in Eden, Texas. This is an 8-week contract in a primarily adult outpatient setting with some swing bed patients. If you're an independent and skilled PT looking for a Monday-Friday, no weekends schedule in a welcoming rural community, apply today!

  • Location: Eden, TX
  • Setting: Outpatient & Swing Bed
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Contract Length: 8 weeks (possible extensions)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Practice Type: Solo Practice – No New Grads

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for adult outpatient and swing bed patients
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation programs
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients and families on rehabilitation techniques and home exercise programs
  • Work independently in a solo practice setting, managing all aspects of patient care
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, safety protocols, and documentation standards

Qualifications & Requirements

  • License: Active Texas Physical Therapist (PT) License
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of outpatient PT experience (No new grads)
  • Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
  • Skills:
  • Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills
  • Ability to work independently in a solo practice setting
