Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – McAlester, OK
Full-Time | Inpatient & Outpatient | Peds & Adults
Connected Healthcare is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a travel assignment in McAlester, OK. This position offers a diverse patient caseload across inpatient and outpatient settings, treating both pediatric and adult patients. - Location: McAlester, OK
- Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
- Patient Population: Pediatrics & Adults
- Schedule: Full-Time (One Weekend Per Month Required)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)
- Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients of all ages
- Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and rehabilitation techniques
- Treat a variety of conditions including post-surgical rehab, orthopedic injuries, and neurological disorders
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and caregivers on proper therapy techniques and injury prevention
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital and clinic standards
Qualifications
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred
- Pediatric and adult therapy experience required
Licensure & Certifications:
Active Oklahoma Physical Therapist license or Compact License required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Education:
Doctorate (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Skills:
Strong orthopedic and neurological rehab experience
Ability to treat a diverse patient population effectively
Excellent communication and patient care skills
