Travel Acute Care / Critical Access RN – Malta, MT - Up to $2,600/WK

A welcoming critical access facility near Malta, Montana, is seeking a skilled Travel Acute Care / Critical Access Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team. This is a 13-week assignment with the opportunity to transition into a permanent role for those interested in long-term career growth. Job Description

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to acute and critical access patients in a rural hospital setting

  • Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor treatment effectiveness

  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans

  • Respond to emergencies with strong clinical judgment and rapid critical thinking

  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and outcomes in electronic medical records

  • Provide patient education and support to families regarding treatment and recovery

Requirements

  • Active Montana RN license (or compact license accepted)

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care or critical access RN experience

  • BLS and ACLS certifications required

  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills

  • Flexibility to adapt to a rural healthcare environment

Education and Certification

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred but not required)

  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

  • Active RN license in Montana or compact state
