Job Description

CLS / MLT Supervisor – Day Shift – Malta, MT

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) Supervisor for a permanent, full-time day shift position (40 hours/week) near Malta, Montana. Job Description:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily laboratory operations and staff

  • Ensure quality control, proficiency testing, and compliance with regulatory standards (CAP, CLIA, etc.)

  • Oversee specimen processing, analysis, and result reporting

  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and troubleshoot technical issues

  • Train and mentor lab personnel and evaluate performance

  • Collaborate with clinical teams to support accurate diagnosis and patient care

  • Participate in departmental budgeting, policy updates, and quality improvement initiatives

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • ASCP or AMT certification required

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field

  • Minimum 2-3 years of clinical laboratory experience preferred

  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience a plus

  • Strong understanding of laboratory standards, safety protocols, and quality control
