Travel ER RN – McAlester, OK

Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Level III Trauma Center

Connected Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in McAlester, Oklahoma. This position is in a Level III ER at a nationally accredited Primary Stroke Center, offering a dynamic and fast-paced environment for a nurse ready to make a difference.

Job Details

  • Location: McAlester, OK

  • Facility: McAlester Regional Health Center (MRHC)

  • Unit: Emergency Room – Level III Trauma Center

  • Designation: Primary Stroke Center

  • Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)

  • ER Visits Annually: Approx. 24,872

  • EMR System: Meditech

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Additional Requirements:

  • ER RNs must sign MRHC Supply Cabinet Keys document as part of compliance

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive care to patients with trauma, stroke, and emergency medical conditions

  • Rapidly assess, triage, and treat patients in critical situations

  • Administer medications, IVs, and emergency interventions

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care

  • Maintain compliance with hospital procedures, stroke protocols, and documentation standards

  • Operate within a fast-paced ER environment that averages over 24,000 visits annually

Qualifications

  • Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active RN license in Oklahoma or compact state license

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Now required

  • TNCC and ENPC preferred

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience required

  • Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
