Travel ER RN – Haskell, TX

Night Shift | ER & MedSurg Float | Small-Town Texas Opportunity

Connected Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN for a travel assignment in Haskell, Texas. This is a dual-role position where the nurse will primarily work in the ER but may float to MedSurg as needed. Job Details

  • Location: Haskell, TX

  • Facility Type: Critical Access Hospital

  • Unit: Emergency Room (ER) with MedSurg Float

  • Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

  • Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:4

  • EMR System: Cerner

  • Scrub Colors: Navy

  • Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in the ER and MedSurg unit

  • Triage, assess, and stabilize patients in emergency situations

  • Administer medications, IVs, and life-saving interventions

  • Monitor and document patient conditions using Cerner EMR

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and ancillary teams to ensure patient safety

  • Float to MedSurg as needed to maintain optimal patient care

Qualifications

  • Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active Texas RN license or compact state license

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required

  • Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience preferred

  • MedSurg experience a plus

  • Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
