Travel ICU/Acute Care RN – Coffeyville, KS
Rotating Days/Nights | 36 Hours Guaranteed | OT Starts at 49 Hours
Connected Healthcare is seeking a skilled ICU/Acute Care RN for an exciting travel assignment in Coffeyville, KS! This role is based in a Critical Access Hospital, meaning ICU acuity is lower, and RNs will spend a significant portion of their time on Acute Care/MedSurg. Job Details
- Location: Coffeyville, KS
- Setting: Critical Access Hospital – ICU & Acute Care/MedSurg
- Shift: Rotating Days/Nights (every other weekend required)
- Typically days one week, nights the next if needed
- Unit: 16-bed unit with a daily census of 8-12 patients
- Staffing: 2-3 nurses per shift + 1-2 CNAs
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (with potential for extension)
- Hours Guaranteed: 36 hours/week
- Overtime: Begins at 49 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive ICU and MedSurg patient care in a Critical Access setting
- Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, IVs, medications, and care plans
- Work collaboratively with physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare staff
- Care for a mix of adult and occasional pediatric patients (PALS required but peds experience is not necessary)
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of ICU or MedSurg experience preferred
- Certifications (Required or Obtainable Post-Offer):
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Can be obtained post-offer
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Licensure: Active RN license in Kansas or compact state license
