Connected Health Care is currently seeking a skilled Labor & Delivery RN for an exciting travel contract near Valentine, Nebraska. This is your chance to grow professionally in a patient-focused, critical access hospital while enjoying the scenic tranquility of the Sandhills.

Position Details

  • Location: Valentine, Nebraska

  • Shift Options: Day or Night

  • Schedule: 3x12s

  • Assignment Type: Temporary Travel RN

  • Start Date: Immediate openings

Job Duties

  • Deliver comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages

  • Interpret fetal monitoring and respond accordingly

  • Administer medications and support delivery interventions like epidurals or inductions

  • Assist physicians during vaginal and cesarean deliveries

  • Provide emergency response in high-risk labor cases

  • Educate mothers and families on postnatal care and newborn health

  • Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting protocols

Candidate Requirements

  • Active RN license (Nebraska or compact state)

  • Minimum of 1 year OB/L&D clinical experience

  • Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and PALS

  • Excellent adaptability, judgment, and patient communication skills
