Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult MedSurg patients

Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, treatments, and medications

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care

Step into charge nurse responsibilities when required, ensuring smooth unit operations

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Follow hospital policies, safety procedures, and infection control standards

Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications:

Active Texas RN license or compact state license

BLS certification required

ACLS preferred

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg experience

Charge nurse experience required

Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
