Connected Health Care is thrilled to partner with a leading healthcare facility in Petoskey, MI, to find a dedicated Med Surg Registered Nurse for a travel position. This is an excellent opportunity for Med Surg nurses seeking a dynamic and rewarding career with night shift availability.

Job Description:

• Provide comprehensive care to medical and surgical patients.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, post-treatment care, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Foster a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Med Surg setting.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
