Respiratory Therapist (Travel) - Nights Shift Available
Pay: $29,250/13 Weeks
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Connected Health Care is excited to partner with a leading healthcare facility in Cedar Rapids, IA, to find a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a travel position. This is a fantastic opportunity for respiratory therapists seeking a dynamic and rewarding career with night shift availability.
Job Description:
- Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders.
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures.
- Monitor patients' physiological responses to therapy and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Perform diagnostic tests such as measuring lung capacity and analyzing blood samples.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and effective management.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Education and Certification Requirements:
- Current and valid certification as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) in the state of Iowa.
- NICU experience strongly desired/preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 2Â year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
