Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – 4x10s – Valentine, NE

Assignment Overview:

  • Position: Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist

  • Location: Near Valentine, NE

  • Setting: Critical Access Hospital

  • Shift: 4x10s – Full-time, 40 hours/week

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Duration: Travel contract – potential to extend

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care, including treatments, assessments, and ventilator management

  • Administer oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications

  • Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop patient care plans

  • Perform diagnostic procedures such as ABGs and pulmonary function tests

  • Document patient responses and maintain accurate records

  • Adapt quickly to a rural critical access environment

Certifications & Requirements:

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential – required

  • Active state license or eligibility in Nebraska or compact state – required

  • Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, PALS

  • Minimum 2 years of experience preferred, especially in a critical access or rural hospital setting
