Job Description:

• Provide professional triage nursing care and advice via telephone, assessing patient symptoms and concerns.

• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

• Document all patient interactions accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record system.

• Educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.

• Manage emergency situations by prioritizing cases and advising patients on necessary care or directing them to the appropriate level of care.

• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• BLS/ACLS certification required.

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (triage experience preferred).

• Strong communication and decision-making skills.

Position Requirements:

• Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from Peterborough, NH to qualify.

• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week.

• Day shift availability.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
