Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Pampa, TX
13-Week Contract
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our client's healthcare team in Pampa, Texas. Job Description:
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized patient treatment plans
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to support rehabilitation goals and patient progress
- Provide hands-on care to patients with a wide range of conditions, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or managing chronic conditions
- Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and adaptive equipment use
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards of practice
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet the unique needs of patients
Requirements:
- Active and unrestricted Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license in Texas
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience (preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to travel and adapt to new environments
Education:
- Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Valid COTA certification
