Required Skills
- Valid Nebraska RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Minimum 1 year of relevant RN experience in acute care settings
- Ability to work a flexible schedule with on-call and callback responsibilities
Nice to Have Skills
- Previous travel nurse experience
- Additional certifications in emergency or critical care
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong clinical assessment and multitasking skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- Active RN license in Nebraska or ability to obtain one swiftly
- At least 1 year of recent ED, Med/Surg, or similar setting experience
- Proven ability to adapt quickly in high-pressure environments
Other Requirements
- Candidates must arrange their own housing prior to start; options are plentiful near a major city in Nebraska.
- Must be comfortable working in a heavy ED/Med/Surg environment.
- Willingness to fulfill on-call and callback duties as needed.
