Job Description:

• Operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of high quality.
• Assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions, ensuring optimal patient care.
• Prepare patients for CT scans, explaining procedures and answering any questions to ensure comfort and safety.
• Adjust and maintain imaging equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Analyze results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine appropriate follow-up and further diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage documentation of all procedures conducted.
• Collaborate with radiology and medical staff to effectively integrate CT services into patient care plans.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist RT(R) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), including a specific certification in CT.
• Valid state license to practice radiologic services in Oregon.
• Minimum of two years of CT experience, with proven proficiency in CT imaging techniques.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
