Job Description:

• Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and under the guidelines set by the department of radiology.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic procedures, explaining methods and addressing concerns to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Operate advanced radiologic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic images and data.
• Evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification is recorded.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality protocols.
• Comply with safety standards to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other health care team members to ensure the highest quality of care.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program.
• Current ARRT certification, with additional certification in CT highly preferred.
• Valid Oregon state license as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Proven experience in both CT and X-ray imaging.
• Strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of imaging procedures.
• Excellent patient care and communication abilities.
