Travel CVCU Registered Nurse – 13 Weeks

We are looking for a skilled CVCU RN to join our client’s healthcare team for a 13-week travel assignment. Job Description:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Vascular Care Unit (CVCU), monitoring and responding to patients' cardiovascular needs.
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform diagnostic tests.
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on post-care instructions and health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with facility protocols.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Oklahoma or Compact RN License.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Cardiac Vascular Care Unit or similar setting.
• Strong understanding of cardiovascular diseases and interventions.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
