Job Overview:
Connected Health Care is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team on a 13-week travel assignment in Redding, California. As a Travel CVOR RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries. Job Description:
- Provide comprehensive care to patients before, during, and after cardiovascular surgeries in the operating room (OR).
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Assist with sterile field maintenance, instrumentation, and surgical supplies.
- Prepare and educate patients on post-operative care and potential complications.
- Document patient care and report any concerns or changes in patient conditions.
- Follow all hospital policies and procedures, as well as safety protocols for OR procedures.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Active RN License in the state of California or compact state.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing preferred.
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred, but not required.
- 2+ years of CVOR RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
