Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or technical education in radiologic technology preferred
- Certifications Requirements:
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Experience Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Special Procedures or Cath/EP cases
- Experience in a critical care setting (ICU, ED, etc) or previous Cath/EP Lab setting
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Other Requirements:
- Active license at the time of submission
- Must disclose previous employment with Parkland Hospital in profile
- Proof of taxable address (e.g., driver’s license, utility bill, lease, etc.)

- Provide proficient cardiac catheterization procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
- Maintain and operate invasive cardiac equipment, including fluoroscopy and monitor system functionalities.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary team members to ensure patient safety and high-quality care during procedures.
- Document all procedures accurately in the EMR system and ensure comprehensive record-keeping.
- Execute timely preparation and cleanup of the cath lab, adhering to strict infection control guidelines.
