Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound technologist program or equivalent
- Certifications Requirements: ARDMS certification required; Vascular certification preferred but not mandatory
- Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of ultrasound experience, including a minimum of 1 year of acute care experience
- Other Requirements: BLS certification; ability to work independently; proficient with ultrasound imaging equipment; strong patient care skills; flexibility to adapt to varying shift schedules

Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality ultrasound imaging and diagnostic services to patients in various clinical settings, including ER, outpatient, and inpatient units.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of procedures performed, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to interpret findings and assist with patient care plans.
- Operate and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety during procedures.
- Adhere to all facility protocols and safety guidelines while working independently, especially during evening shifts with limited on-site staff.
