Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Northern Illinois

Connected Health Care – LTC / Rehab (Neuro Rehabilitation)
$2,260/week | 13-Week Contract | Day or Night Shift | 3x12s | 36 Hours

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking compassionate and experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RNs) to support our partnered long-term care and rehabilitation facility in Northern Illinois. This facility is a not-for-profit rehabilitation center for young adults with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological disorders.

Position Details

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Schedule: Day OR night shift

  • Hours: 3x12s, 36 hours/week

  • Setting: LTC / Rehab – Neuro & Complex Care

  • Compensation: $2,260 per week

  • Start Date: ASAP or upon credentialing

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to young adults with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological disorders.

  • Monitor, assess, and document patient progress toward rehabilitation goals.

  • Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per provider orders.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary rehab teams (PT, OT, SLP, respiratory, behavioral health).

  • Support functional recovery with long-term, independence-focused care planning.

  • Maintain safety, compliance, and state/federal regulatory standards.

Education & Certification Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Illinois or compact).

  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience—neuro, TBI/SCI, rehab, or LTC experience preferred.

  • Current BLS certification (AHA).

  • Excellent clinical assessment, teamwork, and documentation skills.
