Travel/Contract Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) – Days - Rio Rancho, NM
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,720 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week local travel contract in Rio Rancho, NM. Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients

  • Help patients develop or regain daily living and work skills through therapeutic exercises and activities

  • Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist

  • Educate patients and families on techniques to continue therapy at home

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports following facility and regulatory guidelines

  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions

Qualifications:

  • Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License in New Mexico or compact state eligibility

  • Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program

  • BLS Certification required

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an occupational therapy setting (travel experience preferred)

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams
