Travel/Contract Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) – Days - Rio Rancho, NM
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,720 (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week local travel contract in Rio Rancho, NM. Job Responsibilities:

Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients

Help patients develop or regain daily living and work skills through therapeutic exercises and activities

Monitor patient progress and report findings to the Occupational Therapist

Educate patients and families on techniques to continue therapy at home
-
Maintain accurate documentation and reports following facility and regulatory guidelines
-
Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
Qualifications:

Active Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License in New Mexico or compact state eligibility
-
Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assisting from an accredited program
-
BLS Certification required
-
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in an occupational therapy setting (travel experience preferred)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and healthcare teams
