Travel Occupational Therapist – SNF & Rehab | Near Waco, TX

Location: Near Waco, Texas
Contract: 13 Weeks | Critical Access Facility
Shift: Day Shift, 5x8s (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $2,300 per week

Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Occupational Therapist to join a respected Critical Access facility near Waco, TX. This assignment offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in both Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and rehab settings, while enjoying a stable schedule and competitive weekly pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in SNF and rehab environments.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient independence and quality of life.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver holistic care.

  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with facility standards and state regulations.

  • Educate patients and families on therapy plans and progress.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.

  • Licensure: Current Texas OT license (or compact license eligibility).

  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required.

  • Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a rehab or SNF setting preferred.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-focused care skills.
