Travel/Contract PACU RN – Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse - Metropolis, IL
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,250 (Based on Experience)
Schedule: 4x10s – Tuesday - Friday

Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week travel/contract assignment in Metropolis, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive hospital environment while exploring a historic and unique Midwest town.

Job Description:

• Provide care for patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures

• Monitor vital signs, pain levels, and overall recovery during post-operative phase

• Administer medications and fluids as directed

• Assess patients for complications and communicate any concerns to the surgical team

• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and discharge instructions

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

• Collaborate with surgical, anesthesia, and nursing teams to ensure optimal outcomes

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Illinois (or compact license)

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution

• BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA preferred)

• Minimum of 1 year PACU or critical care experience preferred
