Job Description:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

• Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring the highest standards of care.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and post-operative care.

• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with facility policies.

• Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of California.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting.

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

• Certification in CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) is highly desirable.
