Travel/Contract Anesthesiology Technician – Days - Wausau, WI
13-Week Contract | Up to $1,770/Week Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency specializing in healthcare, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Anesthesiology Technician for a 13-week local travel contract in Wausau, Wisconsin. Join a respected hospital team and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality perioperative care.

Position Overview:

  • Contract Length: 13 Weeks

  • Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,770 based on experience

  • Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM | 8-Hour Day Shifts

  • Location: Wausau, WI – Local travel assignment (within 50-100 miles preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist anesthesiologists with the preparation and maintenance of anesthesia equipment before, during, and after procedures

  • Calibrate, test, and operate anesthesia machines and monitoring equipment

  • Ensure proper supply and inventory of necessary medications and equipment in the OR

  • Sterilize, clean, and maintain anesthesia tools and supplies

  • Assist in patient preparation and monitoring under the supervision of clinical staff

  • Maintain documentation and follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures

  • Support emergency procedures and respond to code situations when necessary

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in health sciences or related field preferred

  • Certified Anesthesia Technician (Cer.A.T.) or Technologist (Cer.A.T.T.) credential preferred

  • BLS certification required (AHA preferred)

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an anesthesia support role strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
