Travel Behavioral Psych RN – Rhinelander, WI
10-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $2,850 (DOE)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking a dedicated Travel/Contract Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (Psych RN) for a respected healthcare facility in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. This short-term assignment offers a meaningful opportunity to provide compassionate mental health care while enjoying the tranquility and natural beauty of Wisconsin’s Northwoods.
Job Description:

Provide direct patient care for individuals with behavioral health and psychiatric conditions
-
Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness
-
Administer medications and monitor for side effects and therapeutic effectiveness
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers
-
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety, legal, and facility guidelines
-
Support patients in crisis situations with empathy and professionalism
Shift & Schedule:
-
7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12-hour day shifts
-
Every other weekend required
-
Holiday rotation required
Qualifications:
-
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state
-
AHA BLS certification required
-
Minimum 1–2 years of psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience preferred
-
Strong communication, assessment, and de-escalation skills
-
Ability to provide calm, therapeutic care in high-stress situations
