Job Description

Travel Behavioral Psychology Registered Nurse – Nights - Brattleboro, VT
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,700 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Behavioral Psychology RN to join a top-tier behavioral health facility in Brattleboro, Vermont. This is a rewarding opportunity for nurses who thrive in mental health and behavioral care settings and are looking to take their expertise on the road.

Job Description:

  • Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to patients in a behavioral health unit

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

  • Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic and adverse effects

  • Educate patients and families about mental health conditions and coping strategies

  • Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly

  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment in accordance with facility policies and protocols

  • Respond to crisis situations and provide de-escalation techniques as needed

Education and Certification Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN)

  • Active RN license in Vermont or compact state eligibility

  • BLS certification required

  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) or equivalent de-escalation training preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a behavioral or psychiatric nursing setting strongly preferred
