Travel Breast Ultrasound Technologist – Rancho Mirage, CA
13-Week Contract | Up to $3,450/Week (Based on Experience)
Connected Health Care is seeking a skilled Travel Breast Ultrasound Technologist for an exciting opportunity with one of our trusted healthcare partners in Rancho Mirage, California. If you’re an experienced Mammo Tech or Diagnostic Tech with breast ultrasound expertise looking to take your career on the road, this is the perfect opportunity to join a leading healthcare team in one of California’s most scenic desert communities.
Position Overview:
The Travel Breast Ultrasound Technologist will perform high-quality breast imaging procedures, including screening and diagnostic breast ultrasounds. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and compassionate—committed to providing exceptional patient care and diagnostic accuracy.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality breast ultrasound examinations and assist with interventional procedures as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists to evaluate images for diagnostic clarity and completeness
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper imaging documentation
- Follow established safety protocols and quality control standards
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing education and reassurance throughout the imaging process
- Ensure all equipment is maintained and functioning properly
- Support other imaging modalities as needed
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Required: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Required Certifications:
- CRT – Mammography
- ARRT (R) and/or RDMS Breast Ultrasound Certification
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Proven experience as a Mammography Technologist with Breast Ultrasound experience
Desired: Diagnostic Technologist with additional Ultrasound experience
Contract Details:
- Length: 13 weeks
- Compensation: Up to $3,450 per week (based on experience)
- Schedule: Full-time, travel assignment
