Local Travel CCU Paramedic | Rhinelander, WI
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking an experienced Local Travel CCU Paramedic for a 13-week contract in Rhinelander, WI. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a high-acuity setting while earning up to $2,340 per week, based on experience.
Job Details
- Location: Rhinelander, WI
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Compensation: Up to $2,340 per week (based on experience)
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (mid-morning/mid-evening start times)
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend as needed
- Holidays: As needed and available
- Float Requirement: None (possible need to move within the north region on scheduled workdays)
- On-Call Requirement: None
Job Responsibilities
- Provide basic and advanced life support treatment and care for patients in critical condition
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and document care
- Measure vital signs, record patient information, and communicate conditions to medical teams
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient care and examinations
- Administer interventions and treatments as per protocol under physician or RN supervision
- Assist with emergency procedures, monitoring, and stabilizing ill or injured patients
- Work in collaborative team settings, including EMT/Medic, Medic/Medic, RN/EMT, and RN/Medic configurations
- Use Zoll EMS Charts for documentation (training provided)
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of paramedic experience required (3+ years preferred)
- Education: High school diploma and successful completion of an EMS paramedic program
- Certifications (Required):
- Wisconsin EMT Paramedic Certification
- Active Wisconsin Driver’s License (good standing)
- AHA BLS & AHA ACLS Certifications
- Preferred Certifications:
- Wisconsin Critical Care Paramedic (CCP) Endorsement
- Michigan Paramedic Certification (candidates with NREMT-P may be eligible for MI licensure reciprocity)
- Skills:
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and perform under stress
- Proficiency in treating life-threatening conditions and trauma cases
