Travel CCU Registered Nurse (RN) – 8-Week Contract
Location: Rhinelander, WI
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour variable shifts)

Job Overview

Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Critical Care Unit (CCU) Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Rhinelander, WI. This 8-week contract is perfect for an RN with ICU experience and previous travel experience looking to work in a dynamic, high-acuity setting. If you have a strong background in critical care nursing, this opportunity offers competitive pay, guaranteed hours, and valuable experience in rural healthcare.

Position Details

  • Contract Length: 8 weeks
  • Start Date: April 21
  • Shift: 12-hour variable shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
  • Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and every other holiday
  • On-Call Requirement: None

Required Certifications:

  • Active Wisconsin RN License
  • AHA or Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum: 2+ years of ICU experience
  • Required: Previous travel RN experience
  • Preferred: Experience in critical access/rural healthcare
  • Occasional care for pediatric surgical patients (ENT or orthopedic cases)

Charting & Unit Details

  • Charting System: EPIC (no prior experience required)
  • Patient Ratio: 1:2
  • Scrub Color: Any
