Job Title: Local Travel CT/XR Tech – Susanville, CA

Job Description: Connected Health Care is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Local Travel CT/XR Tech for an 8-week contract assignment near Susanville, CA. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a beautiful part of Northern California with housing provided for the duration of your contract. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT (computed tomography) and X-ray imaging procedures for patients.
• Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain accurate images.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality during imaging procedures.
• Work closely with the radiologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely, accurate imaging results.
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and report any technical issues.
• Follow all safety protocols for radiation exposure and patient care.
• Accurately document imaging procedures in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Provide excellent patient care and ensure a compassionate, professional environment.
• Assist with patient intake, including obtaining medical history and vital signs.
• Participate in departmental quality assurance programs to improve patient care and workflow.

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current CT/XR certification (ARRT or equivalent).
• California state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• Prior experience in both CT and X-ray imaging preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent diagnostic imaging skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with healthcare teams.
