Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS (required), ACLS (preferred), CST certification (preferred)
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of OR or CVOR nursing experience; 2 years for general OR and 5 years for CVOR preferred
  • Other Requirements: Valid RN license, Driver's License, ability to pass background check, strong communication skills

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for CVOR patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and surgical teams with intraoperative procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and sterile protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and responses throughout surgeries, making real-time adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of surgical interventions, patient progress, and equipment usage.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to hospital policies.
