Job Description

Travel Cardiopulmonary Registered Nurse – Wausau, WI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,000 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care is seeking a Travel Cardiopulmonary RN to join one of our respected partner facilities in Wausau, WI. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced RN with cardiac device expertise to contribute to a dedicated team in a dynamic clinical setting.

Shift Details:

  • 8-Hour Variable Shifts

  • Schedule: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

  • Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40

Job Description:

  • Monitor and manage patients with implanted cardiac devices

  • Conduct device interrogations and adjust settings per physician directives

  • Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to optimize patient outcomes

  • Provide patient education on device function and care

  • Maintain accurate and timely charting/documentation

  • Follow protocols for patient safety and device integrity

  • Communicate findings to interdisciplinary teams and support patient continuity of care

Required Certifications & Experience:

  • WI Registered Nurse License required 

  • BLS certification (AHA required)

  • Must have cardiac rhythm interpretation experience

  • Minimum 2+ years of recent cardiac clinic or device experience

Education Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing, Cardiovascular Sciences, or Biomedical Electronic Sciences

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Cardiopulmonary or Cardiovascular Sciences preferred
