Travel Cardiac Clinical Device RN - 13-Week Contract

Location: Wausau, WI
Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 8-Hour Variable Shifts

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Clinical Device RN for a 13-week contract in Wausau, WI. This opportunity is ideal for a registered nurse with cardiac rhythm experience, looking for a rewarding travel assignment in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cardiac Device Management: Perform device checks, remote monitoring, and programming checks for pacemakers and ICDs.
• Shift Requirements: 8-hour shifts, with varied start times between 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM.
• Weekend/Holiday: No weekends, but holiday rotation required.
• On-Call: No on-call responsibilities.
• Unit Tasks: Daily tasks include remote download analysis, inpatient checks, and post-implant teaching for patients.

Requirements:

• Certifications: WI RN license, BLS required. CCDS or CDRMS credential preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a cardiac setting, including rhythm interpretation, device management, and clinical assessment.
• Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or related field required; Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular/Cardiopulmonary Sciences preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of ECG interpretation, cardiac devices, and remote monitoring. Experience with Epic EMR and/or PaceArt is a plus.
