Travel/Contract CVICU RN – Concord, NC
13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $2,550 (DOE)
Connected Health Care, a premier recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking an experienced Travel Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse for an esteemed healthcare facility in Concord, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled ICU nurse ready to take on an impactful travel assignment in a city rich with charm, culture, and convenience.
Job Description:

Provide high-acuity nursing care to critically ill cardiac and post-cardiac surgery patients
-
Monitor and manage life-sustaining equipment such as ventilators, IABPs, CRRT, and invasive lines
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and individualized patient care
-
Administer medications, interpret labs and diagnostics, and document care accurately
-
Educate patients and families on recovery processes and post-care
-
Maintain compliance with hospital policies and standards of care
Schedule Details:
-
Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
-
No call required
-
Holiday expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays during the contract
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 2 years of recent Critical Care experience (CVICU preferred)
-
Active North Carolina or compact state RN license
-
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
-
Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond quickly to changes in patient condition
-
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
