- Certifications Requirements: BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred; CST certification (if applicable).
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of perioperative or CVOR nursing experience; 2 years for general OR experience preferred.
- Other Requirements: Ability to work independently within a team; strong communication skills; physical ability to stand for extended periods.

- Assess patient conditions and collaborate with surgical team members to develop and implement optimal perioperative care plans.
- Provide advanced cardiovascular surgical nursing support during open-heart surgeries, valve replacements, and vascular procedures.
- Maintain sterile techniques and ensure compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards throughout procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and response to surgical interventions, adjusting care as needed to ensure stability and safety.
- Document all patient care activities accurately within the EMR system and communicate updates effectively to team members.
