Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or valid surgical tech certification from an accredited program
  • Certifications Requirements: BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIHSS (Neurological Standards Stroke Scale)
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of hospital surgical tech experience, including exposure to cardiovascular operating room cases
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours, excellent communication skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to adapt to float assignments as needed

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide circulator and scrub support for cardiovascular and general surgeries, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and safety protocols.
  • Assist surgical team with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of surgical equipment, including robotic systems like Davinci XI.
  • Monitor patient status and vital signs, reporting any anomalies to the healthcare team during procedures.
  • Participate in preoperative and postoperative procedures, including documentation and equipment sterilization.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
