Travel Cath Lab Technician – 13-Week Contract - Days - Pikeville, KY
Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing agency, is seeking an experienced Travel Cath Lab Technician to join one of our respected partner facilities in Pikeville, Kentucky. This 13-week contract is perfect for a skilled tech looking to expand their experience while enjoying the natural beauty and local charm of eastern Kentucky.
Job Description:

Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures, angioplasties, and pacemaker/ICD implantations
-
Operate diagnostic imaging equipment to capture detailed cardiovascular images
-
Monitor and record patient vitals during procedures and assist physicians as needed
-
Maintain sterile field and ensure all cath lab equipment is functioning properly
-
Prepare patients for procedures, provide aftercare instructions, and ensure overall patient safety
-
Accurately document procedure details and maintain patient records in accordance with facility protocols
Education & Certification Requirements:
-
Associate's Degree or higher in a related healthcare field
-
ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
-
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)

Minimum of 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience preferred

Strong knowledge of sterile technique, cardiovascular anatomy, and interventional procedures
