Position Highlights

Job Description – Travel COTA (SNF Setting Required)
  • Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Implement individualized care plans focused on improving activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Assist patients with strength, coordination, mobility, and cognitive functioning exercises
  • Support rehabilitation for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, stroke, cardiac conditions, and general deconditioning
  • Train patients in adaptive equipment use and compensatory strategies
  • Document patient progress accurately and efficiently in EMR systems
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare regulations, and state practice guidelines
Education & Certification Requirements
  • Associate Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Active Colorado COTA license (or eligibility for Colorado licensure)
  • Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 year Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience required
  • Strong documentation, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with rehab and nursing teams
