Travel Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse – Pittsfield, MA
13-Week Contract | Up to $2,970/Week Based on Experience
12-Hour Day Shifts | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed
Will Float to PCU as Needed
Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing partner, is currently seeking an experienced Travel CCU Registered Nurse to join a respected healthcare facility in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This 13-week contract is perfect for critical care nurses who thrive in high-acuity environments and are open to occasional floating to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Job Responsibilities
-
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to critically ill adult patients
-
Monitor and interpret vital signs, manage life-support equipment, and administer critical medications
-
Collaborate with intensivists, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
-
Float to the PCU as needed to support patient volume and acuity needs
-
Accurately document patient information in the EMR system
-
Maintain strict adherence to infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards
Education & Certification Requirements
-
Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts or compact state – required
-
Minimum 1 year of CCU experience – required
-
BLS and ACLS (AHA) – required
-
Critical Care RN Certification (CCRN) – preferred
-
Prior experience in PCU/step-down – preferred
