Travel/Contract ER Registered Nurse – Wausau, WI
13-Week Contract | Up to $3,000/Week Based on Experience

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a local travel contract in Wausau, Wisconsin. This is an exciting opportunity to provide critical care in a fast-paced ER setting while enjoying the flexibility and benefits of a 13-week assignment.

Position Overview:

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Weekly Compensation: Up to $3,000 based on experience

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Variable Shifts

• Location: Wausau, WI – Local travel opportunity (within 50-100 miles preferred)

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients experiencing trauma, illness, or acute medical conditions

• Triage patients quickly and efficiently while maintaining calm under pressure

• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and operate life-saving equipment

• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care

• Provide emotional support and clear communication to patients and their families

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans

• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and state/federal regulations

Education & Certification Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Wisconsin (or compact state eligibility)

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)

• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA preferred)

• TNCC certification preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room experience in an acute care setting
