Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Certifications Requirements: NC or Compact State RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of ED and Level I Trauma experience, previous travel experience preferred
- Other Requirements: Proficiency with EPIC charting system, flexibility to float to other WakeMed EDs, ability to manage change, strong resilience, and social skills

Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality emergency and trauma care to adult patients in a Level I Trauma ED setting, ensuring adherence to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans efficiently, utilizing EPIC charting experience to document accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, technicians, and support staff, to deliver coordinated and effective patient treatment.
- Manage and respond to acuity fluctuations during 12-hour night and day shifts, demonstrating resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Float to other WakeMed ED locations as needed, maintaining flexibility and proficiency across different department protocols.
