Travel ER Respiratory Therapist – Portage, WI
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay Up to $2,850 (Based on Experience)
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Nights | Every Other Weekend + Holiday Call

Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is currently seeking an experienced Travel ER Respiratory Therapist for a premier hospital client in Portage, Wisconsin. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled RT professional looking to make a difference while enjoying a competitive compensation package.

Job Description:

  • Provide emergency and critical respiratory care in a high-acuity ER environment

  • Manage ventilators and airway support for neonates to adult patients

  • Respond to code blues and rapid response team calls

  • Collaborate with ER physicians, nurses, and NICU teams for patient stabilization

  • Accurately document care provided and communicate patient updates

  • Float to NICU and assist with neonatal respiratory therapy when needed

  • Participate in weekend and holiday rotations; be available for on-call assignments

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Therapy (required)

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential

  • Active Wisconsin Respiratory Therapist License

  • AHA BLS Certification (required)

  • Advanced NRP Certification (required)

  • ACLS Certification (preferred)

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience

  • NICU experience preferred

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in care of patients aged 0–6 months

  • Prior travel healthcare experience preferred
