Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling in respiratory therapy preferred
  • Certifications Requirements: AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS; NRP preferred; NBRC CRT or RRT; WI license
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1+ years of respiratory therapy experience in a hospital setting; experience with ventilator management and EPIC charting
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM); strong documentation skills; resilient, hard-working, and adaptable to change; social and team-oriented personality

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced respiratory care, including ventilator management, to adult and paediatric patients across various hospital units.
  • Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and monitor response to treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
  • Utilize hospital EMR systems such as EPIC for accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
  • Respond promptly to emergency respiratory situations, including Rapid Response and Code Blue events.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care and compliance with safety standards.
