Travel/Contract Emergency Room Registered Nurse – Albemarle, North Carolina
13-Week Contract | Weekly Pay Up to $2,250 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a trusted recruitment and staffing partner, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Albemarle, NC. This opportunity allows you to deliver exceptional emergency care while exploring a scenic and community-focused region of North Carolina.

Job Description – ER RN Responsibilities

  • Provide direct care to patients experiencing urgent, life-threatening medical conditions

  • Rapidly assess, triage, and initiate treatment plans for patients with a wide variety of illnesses and injuries

  • Collaborate with emergency physicians and healthcare teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care

  • Administer medications, start IVs, perform wound care, and manage advanced airway equipment as needed

  • Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic medical records

  • Maintain composure and deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced, high-stress environment

Contract Details

  • Length: 13 Weeks

  • Compensation: Up to $2,250/week (based on experience)

  • Schedule:

    • Weekend rotation: Every other weekend

    • No on-call requirement

    • Holiday expectation: Traveler will work 75% of holidays

Licensure & Certifications Required

  • Active RN License – North Carolina or Compact State

  • BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)

  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support

  • NIHSS – National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale

  • CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention

  • TNCC – Trauma Nursing Core Course (Preferred)

Education Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of recent ER nursing experience strongly preferred
