Local Travel Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech) - Springfield, VT
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,200 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care, a nationally recognized recruitment and staffing firm, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech) for a 13-week local travel contract in Springfield, Vermont. Join a leading healthcare facility and provide essential support to medical teams in a fast-paced emergency department.

Job Description:

  • Assist physicians and nurses with patient care in the Emergency Room

  • Perform vital signs, EKGs, wound care, splinting, and other patient procedures

  • Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes to nursing staff

  • Assist in transporting patients, setting up equipment, and restocking supplies

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff

  • Support patient admissions, discharges, and transfers

  • Document patient interactions and services performed accurately

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Completion of EMT or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training preferred

  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

  • 1+ year of experience in an Emergency Room or acute care setting highly preferred

  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
