Job Requirements
- Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalency required; additional surgical tech training preferred
- Certifications Requirements: CSFA Certification (NBSTSA), AHA BLS
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years of OR experience with a strong orthopedic background, including joint, spine, urology, endoscopy, general surgery; experience with trauma level procedures preferred
- Other Requirements: Ability to manage change effectively, resilient, social skills, and hardworking; must be able to work 4-10 hour shifts, including call duties, with flexibility for holiday coverage and weekends; good charting skills not required but beneficial

Job Responsibilities
- Provide first assist support during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare operating rooms and ensure proper sterilization and equipment setup.
- Maintain accurate documentation of surgical procedures, patient information, and equipment usage.
- Execute post-operative care procedures and assist with patient recovery as directed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with equipment management, inventory control, and adherence to safety protocols throughout shifts.
